Malgrè le départ de Jermaine, Michael et ses frères entament une nouvelle carrière chez CBS Records. Les groupe est rebaptisé The Jacksons. Un nouveau single, intitulé Enjoy Yourself, voit le jour. Il sera suivi d’un album qui contiendra pour la première fois deux chansons composées par les Jacksons.
